HOW TO FILL YOUR TRAILER

Please only fill the dump trailer to the top of the side boards.

Please DO NOT put the following items in the dump trailer.

These are items that are not allowed to be dumped at the landfill:

• Paint
• Gasoline
• Motor Oil
• Tires
• Fluorescent bulbs
• Any kind of vehicle battery, examples are car, truck, boat ATC etc. batteries
• Biohazard sharps

 

Appliances can be disposed of, however, there is an additional cost of $15 per item.  The North Iowa Landfill charges for each appliance separate from dumping garbage.  Please place items at the back of the trailer for easy unloading.

 

• Washers, dryers, stoves, refrigerators, microwaves, dehumidifiers, window air conditioning units.
• TV’s
• Computers and printers, fax machines, copy machines

 

What CAN BE in the dump trailers:

• Garbage
• Clothing
• Cardboard
• Furniture
• Yard waste
• Branches
• Metal
• Construction debris
• Small kitchen appliances like toasters, mixers, blenders, food processors, etc.
